Despite some delays along the way as a result of the rainy season we are happy to report that the first phase of Universal Chance’s work at Buhinga School is complete. Two of our trustees (Mpuuga and Ian) visited the school over Xmas and met with both our project manager and the school headmaster.
The headmaster is very happy with the renovations which have provided the girls with a brand new aqua privy toilet, a complete refit of an unused toilet block and extensive repair and renovation to the classroom block most in need. A massive thank you to all who have made what we have achieved so far possible – the children will now be back in school and learning in a safer, more sanitary environment as a direct result of your support and generosity.
